End of 3rd Marking Period

We have made it.
Tomorrow is officially the end of the marking period.
We have been rather busy since the progress reports went out.

English 10: We did introductory paragraphs for an FCA paper. After break we will continue that with the next FCA to do the conclusion paragraph and body elements. Poetry is also on the agenda. Then we will hit a play or two.

Debate: We found an easier book and are trying to write an Affirmative speech on a choice of 4 topics. The chapter 4 they have been working out of for over a week has the exact list of what they have to do to create the speech. Their speech is due when they return from break.

March Already

If you have been keeping track, today is the end of the 7th week.
The progress reports should be in the mail any second.
Please do not believe a student that says they did not do one, we did them all for those who were absent.

ENGLISH - We read 2 stories and took a test today that was all inclusive. It seems to have gone much better than the last few tests.

DEBATE - Things are going much better. We found an easier Debate book to work with and the work and activities are going much better. We are doing more IN class work and that is certianly helping grades.

FCA paper - I should be giving the next FCA paper out on Monday or Tuesday next week.
I am fairly sure on what the student will need to write about.
